The Tap Lab: Beginning Tap Intensive

Find your rhythm. Build your skills. Make some noise. Tap Lab is a one-week, half-day camp designed for older teens who are new to tap. Whether you’re a musical theatre performer ready to expand your skills or simply curious about trying something new, this is your chance to learn alongside other beginners—no tap experience needed! Through technique classes, rhythm exercises, and choreography, dancers will explore foundational steps like shuffles, flaps, and ball changes while developing coordination, musicality, and clearer sounds. We’ll break down the footwork, make space for questions and practice, and build combinations as your confidence grows. Expect a supportive atmosphere where you can challenge yourself, laugh through the learning process, and celebrate your progress. Come ready to work, experiment, and discover what your feet can do!
