Junior Theater Festival - Sacramento

The Junior Theater Festival (JTF) is the world’s largest celebration of young people in musical theater, bringing together student performers from across the country for an unforgettable weekend of performance, learning, and collaboration. Students work with Broadway professionals, attend workshops, watch incredible performances, and showcase selections from a Broadway Junior musical in front of a panel of adjudicators. Our JTF teams rehearse throughout the season to prepare a high-energy 15-minute performance package that highlights acting, singing, dancing, teamwork, and storytelling. In addition to performing at the festival, team members participate in masterclasses, connect with other passionate young performers, and create memories that last a lifetime. JTF teams are selected by audition only.
